Learn About HDR Digital Photography : Editing the First Image for an HDRI Composite

My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert
Village. Today I’m going to give you an overview and introduction to HDR or High Dynamic Range
Photography. So I’m going to go down to my first photo, I’m going to go over to develop
and this part of the whole thing is entirely up to your software. I just use Lightroom
so that’s why mine looks the way it does. You can use Aperture, you could even use PhotoShop
to do this, you could use a, PaintShop Pro to do this. So what I’m going to do here is
on this one, this one’s a good looking picture it’s just a little flat looking so I am going
to go up here and just saturate the colors a little bit. This really makes the, the blues
pop and it really brings out that orange you can see from the sunset. Other than that I
might crank up the contrast a little bit just to bring out some of the ground details. There
we go I’m good with that one, well you know what? I’m going to work on those blacks, there
we go so that’s a, that’s pretty cool looking so let’s move on to our next photo.
