Using Silent Shutter in Cultural Photography | Renan Ozturk | Sony Alpha Universe

The one thing that I really love about
my Sony camera is the silent shooting. Especially for touchy cultural
situations or shooting on film sets where you can’t make any noise. I can think of a few times such as in the jungles in Burma when you’re shooting inside a dusty kitchen with ‘God Ray’s’ coming through the wall and you just don’t want to draw undue attention to yourself. It’s nice not to have a shutter clicking and it’s just been really important throughout all my work.
